Technology...

As we write more of these posts, I am actually finding it harder to keep trying to relate technology to my field of teaching. I guess it would help out in many ways, but none that I would need to keep up with like a high school teacher would. The preschoolers I work with for my Childhood Practicum class right now rarely use any form of technology, they do everything by hand and learn through play. Im sure I could use technology to keep track of attendance and observations, but that is nothing I don't already know how to do. In response to the comment left on my last post, isn't that class awesome? I totally agree with the story time and the almost magical feeling you are left with when you actually grasp the attention of all those children.

  1. Yes I can see where you are having a problem relating technology into your field of teaching. That was one of my concerns. My interest is little kids and with little kids technology I feel is harder to incorporate into the learning experience. I do however think that in time maybe things like story time will be given in a different manner, maybe through technology. I don't really agree or like that idea but I am guessing if technology is going to start being pushed into education than the classic methods and interaction today will not exist. :-(
